 erto Bragho' at the exhibition "Impressionists on Paper" at the Royal Acad

 r.\nYou might recognise paintings of Degas\, Cézanne\, Morisot\, and Van 
 Gogh\, but this ground-breaking exhibition focuses on their radical works 
 on paper. Edgar Degas noted that drawing does not represent what the artis
 t sees but what the artist wishes others to see. In works on paper\, art l
 oses its aspect of imitating nature\, and replaces it with an attitude of 
 experimentation\, of idea\, both in subjects and technique\, resulting in 
 engaging the viewer in both senses and intellect. The Royal Academy exhibi
 tion proves both the evolution and the protest of the Impressionists well.
