DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 40th edition of the Nosside World Poetry 
 Prize makes a prestigious stop in London. Its international journey after 
 its opening at the University of Havana is continuing.\n\nThe Consulate Ge
 neral of Italy in the British capital\, in collaboration with Il Circolo\,
  will host the event.\n\nConsul General Domenico Bellantone will inaugurat
 e the meeting which has been included in a cultural and promotional progra
 m aimed at the large Italian community in London.\n\nA highlight of the ev
 ening will be a talk with Professor Pasquale Amato\, founder of the Nossid
 e Prize\, moderated by Luisella Mazza.\n\nFounded in 1983 in Reggio Calabr
 ia\, the Prize is a unique competition for unpublished poetry. It has welc
 omed poets from 108 countries and recognized work in 160 native and local 
 languages. It stands out for its commitment to multilingualism and multime
 dia\, accepting entries in five official languages (Italian\, English\, Sp
 anish\, French\, and Portuguese) and in written\, video\, or musical form.
 \n\nSpecial guest Mukul Dahal\, poet and Grand Prize Winner of the 2009 ed
 ition will share his experience and read his winning poem in Nepali\, acco
 mpanied by music by Maestro Dario Zema. Now a lecturer at the University o
 f Glasgow\, Dahal embodies the Prize’s global and inclusive spirit.\nThe
  evening will close with a delicious tribute to Mediterranean heritage. Th
 e launch of the Dolce del Premio di Poesia Nosside\, created by Master Pas
 try Chef Angelo Musolino\, President of CONPAIT will be a highlight. Inspi
 red by ancient Mediterranean flavors\, this dessert honors the poet Nossid
 e of Locri\, the symbol of the Prize.\nJoin us for an inspiring celebratio
 n of poetry\, culture\, and international dialogue\, as the Nosside Prize 
 continues to build bridges between voices from around the world.\n&nbsp\;\
