Art Club is proud to organise At The National Gallery The “Grand Tour” of 1700 greatly favoured the production and diffusion of Italian landscape and landscape painting. This happened when Italian painters, and especially Venetian ones, such as Canaletto, Guardi, Bellotto, and Marieschi, obtained continuous commissions to paint “memories” of places visited. In Venice, the art of painting resumed in 1700 with Tiepolo. In Canaletto, an ‘ante litteram’ photographer, Venice always differs in itself. Join Art Club for lots of cultural events.
