Details:
Meeting point: in front of King’s Cross station main entrance on Euston Road at 8:30 am to take the train all together at 8:54 am (Great Northern train [GN308400]). Please look for our group with the Il Circolo poster. (If you get to Cambridge with another train/bus or by car, please inform us at attivita@ilcircolo.org.uk
and meet us in front of Cambridge station at 9:43 am).
Agenda of the day in Cambridge:
-9.45 am-10.30 am: coffee break and walk towards the River Cam
-10.45 am-11.35 am or 11 am-11.50 am: shared punting tour with guide
-11.35am / 11.50 am-2 pm: walk towards the lunch spot and lunch (picnic or pizzeria, depending on preference)
-2 pm-4 pm: visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum, Greek and Roman gallery (tickets will be purchased at the museum)
-4 pm-5.45 pm: sightseeing walk in the city centre
-5.45 pm-6.45 pm: drinks in the historic The Eagle Pub or an Italian coffee shop
-6.45 pm-7.05 pm: walk towards the train station
-7.13pm (indicative time depending on final train time): train back to London (Great Northern train [GN310000])
-8:03pm (indicative time as per just above): arrival at King’s Cross station

PS: Please note that we will take an open return ticket, so that we can take a later train for the return if needed.
