The next Il Circolo Bookclub Mondo Nuovo meeting will be held in person and online.
The books of the month are ‘Io odio Internet by Jarett Kobek and Steve Jobs non abita piu’ qui by Michele Masneri: we will explore a new corner of the Mondo Nuovo: technology, particularly social media.
We will meet in person at the Google London offices, where a meeting room will be available for 14 people: please register at the link below to confirm your attendance in person. For those who cannot be there in person, we will be online at 1 pm on Zoom (link soon).
The programme for those attending in person is as follows:
- 12 noon: arrival at Google London (6 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG, entrance next to Wasabi Sushi and registration/security (important to arrive on time 🙂
- Tea/coffee and tour of the office, designed by architecture firm Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (more about the building design here)
- 1 pm: Online Zoom with all participants and book discussion
- 2 p.m.: conclusion
