Tracy Chevalier is an American-British novelist, best known for her second novel, Girl with a Pearl Earring, which was adapted into a 2003 film.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Oberlin College in 1984 and moved to England the same year. After working as an editor until 1993, she pursued a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Tracy Chevalier has authored numerous books and most recently published The Glass Maker.
