Join Il Circolo Art Club for a special evening at the Estorick Collection of Modern Art for a guided visit to the Antonio Calderara paintings exhibition.
The Collection of Modern Italian Art has been recently renovated. It is known internationally for its Futurist works, and figurative art and sculpture dating from 1890 to the 1950s. The exhibition programme continues to address artists, movements, and questions in ways that change our understanding of Italian art and culture. The artist Antonio Calderara (1903-1978) is celebrated for his delicate and beautifully balanced abstract imagery. His style shares several affinities with the work of Giorgio Morandi.
The Estorick Collection will offer an aperitif after the guided tour, to enjoy some time together and discuss the exhibition.
